Goal and Medium
JRS work helps women become deeply grounded in who they are, so they can live empowered as intentional partners with Hashem, shaping their unfolding destiny.
To accomplish this, JRS combines healing tools informed by Attachment Theory and modern neuroscience with the timeless wisdom of Torah and Chassidus.
Understanding Attachment
Attachment theory gives us a framework for understanding the subconscious patterns we develop around love, trust, safety, and connection.
These patterns influence how we think, feel, communicate, and behave in relationships—often entirely without your conscious awareness.
Knowing your attachment style is only the beginning.
Your attachment patterns are connected to subconscious beliefs and expectations about yourself, other people, and relationships. These beliefs can influence your emotional reactions and behaviors before you have consciously decided how you want to respond.
However, the brain and nervous system are capable of learning.
Through our work together in JRS we can bring subconscious patterns into awareness and work with them in ways that create new neural pathways and greater security in your relationships.
What We Develop Together
Understanding your patterns is the beginning. The work is seeing reality as Hashem is actually creating it and developing the capacity to respond appropriately.
Together, we discover which tools to develop so they will serve you, providing the skills and inner capacities that willl help you meet yourself, your relationships, and the challenges of real life with greater clarity, stability, and connection.
1. Truthful Self-Perception
We bring subconscious beliefs and expectations about yourself into awareness and work with them so that your perception of yourself and your life becomes aligned with what is actually true now.
2. A Healthy Relationship with Needs and Expectations
We learn to recognize your subconscious needs, understand what they are telling you, and find healthy ways to meet them. We also learn to distinguish between a legitimate need and an expectation that places an unhealthy demand on another person.
3. Healthy Emotional Patterns
We learn to recognize attachment-related emotional patterns and work with the nervous system to regulate and equilibrate them. Over time, this creates greater emotional stability and freedom to choose how you respond.
4. Proficiency in Boundaries
We develop the ability to recognize where you end and another person begins, understand what belongs to you and what belongs to them, and set and maintain healthy boundaries—so you have a safe place to live - inside yourself. In order to acheive this we work through discomforts and subconscious fears.
5. Clear and Kind Communication
We develop the ability to say what you want, need, feel, and think directly, clearly, positively, and kindly. This replaces indirect communication, blame, criticism, hints, withdrawal, or attack with communication that creates the possibility of genuine connection.
6. Directly Addressing What Is Wrong
We learn to identify what is actually happening and address it directly rather than using behaviors to escape or numb discomfort.
If there is an unmet need, we work toward meeting it. If there is an untrue story, we work toward correcting it. If there is a relationship problem, we address the relationship. The goal is to understand what is underneath the behavior and respond to the actual issue.
7. Integrating Your Whole Story
We work toward becoming whole by allowing your past to be part of your story without needing to hide from it or drown in it.
What happened in the past may still be presenting itself in your life today. Rather than being defined by it or needing to escape it, we can learn to meet what is still here, understand what it is asking of you now, and integrate it into the whole of who you are.
This is living with truth: allowing the past, present, and everything that has shaped you to belong to your whole story.
And within that full truth, we learn to meet Hashem—not outside of your story, but within the reality He is creating with you.
This is the finishing touch to developing the capacity to meet real life and thrive in it.
Sessions
JRS sessions are individual coaching sessions tailored to your life and relationships.
You don't need to arrive knowing your attachment style or having everything figured out. We begin with what is happening in your life, identify the patterns underneath, and work from there.
